On behalf of the Society for Pediatric Sedation, I would like to welcome you to the SPS 2024 Annual Conference!
This year's conference offers the highest quality educational programming, opportunities to network with SPS colleagues, and a chance to explore Boston - a historic city which boasts a rich culture and tons to see and do.
As always, our topics are tailored to both new and experienced sedation providers from across multiple pediatric disciplines including medical, dental, nursing, and Child Life. We will keep you up to date with the latest sedation research through our review of the year’s top articles, oral abstract presentations, and poster presentations.
To compliment the plenary lectures, problem-based learning sessions, and multiple breakout sessions presented by national and international experts, we are offering additional workshops to help you refine specific skills. Additionally, our breakout sessions are structured into four tracks: 1) Essentials - focused on sedation fundamentals; 2) Nursing and Allied Health; 3) Clinical Conundrums and 4) Quality/Safety/Legal. Feel free to pick and choose sessions from any or all of these tracks to get the most out of our programming.
The Annual Conference is a great way to get more involved in the SPS. Meet our speakers, ask questions, and network. And don’t forget to join us during our committee meetings. All are welcome.
As we join together from across the globe, let’s remember that we are all in this together - advancing Pediatric Sedation by promoting safe, high-quality care, innovative research, and quality education.
I look forward to seeing you in Boston!
