On behalf of the Society for Pediatric Sedation, I would like to welcome you to the SPS 2026 Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana!

This year we are excited to offer you a variety of conference programming styles including breakout lecture-based sessions, hands-on workshops, problem-based learning didactics, and expert plenary panels. With so many lecture formats, you are bound to find something that best fits your learning style and unlock priceless networking opportunities against the backdrop of the historic city of New Orleans!

As always, SPS aims to tailor conference topics to both new and experienced sedation providers from multiple disciplines including medical, dental, nursing, and child life. Also, we will highlight the past year’s research achievements with a plenary from last year’s Global Health Awardee, the Annual Top Articles review, Oral Abstract presentations, and Poster presentations.

The Annual SPS Conference is a great way to get more involved in the Society for Pediatric Sedation and meet people from all across the world who are passionate about providing the highest quality procedural sedation care.
